Our company EPLA Limited sells worming products in two different ways.

Wormers Direct

Our low cost solution marketed under the name ‘Wormers Direct’ supplies wormers to horse owners who already understand all the issues relating to treating parasites and are able to make the complex decisions needed to make sure their horses stay healthy. It is a price led approach and very competitively priced. However with 5 chemical groups and over 18 different brands of equine worming products plus herbal remedies in common use, more and more horse owners are turning away from a shotgun, one size fits all, approach to worming and using ‘Intelligent Worming’ as their preferred worming regime.

Intelligent Worming


Intelligent Worming’ is our flagship product. It is a holistic way of dealing with equine parasites where each worming programme is individually tailored to suit your horse. Each programme starts with a comprehensive risk assessment and includes periodic dung sampling for worm egg counts using the UK’s leading veterinary laboratory. Using diagnostic testing and risk assessment techniques enables us to design the right programme for your horse.
Each programme includes the risk assessment, dung sampling and up to six treatments each year. With prices starting from around £55 per annum (depending on size and risk) ‘Intelligent Worming’ is slightly more costly than buying off the shelf chemicals and ‘hoping’, but the results speak for themselves.
