That’s right Wormers Direct were set up seven years ago solely as a consultancy service on worming.  We are not a web site shop of a larger retail concern but a business that is dedicated to providing a worming service.

Over the seven years we have lost very few customers.  The main reason for people leaving is because their animal has been sold or unfortunately died.  Our biggest source of enquiries is word of mouth and recommendations. 

When owners at livery move to new yards they take their worming program with them and usually the new yard owner or manager contacts us to join our service.

It is like being in a club, the person you speak do will know who you are and all about your animals, you will be allocated a personal consultant that will not change during your membership but if they are not available any of the consultants will be able to access your details in minutes.

Our consultants are available for yard visits to provide a personal tailored program and advice at your convenience, and are available for lectures and talks to riding clubs, pony clubs etc.

Consultancy Services

Our consultants can provide advise on many health care aspects including which wormer to use and the most cost effective worming program.  The inital consultation is free of charge.

 Pet registration scheme

Register your pet with us and we will design their annual worming and flea treatment program at no charge.  The products will be despatched automatically to arrive with you when they are due.

 Automatic Delivery

Register your own chemical worming program with us or our consultants can design one.  The products will be despatched automatically to arrive with you when they are due.

Intelligent Worming Process Review

A review of your worming strategy and the design of a worming program. The management fee charge covers twelve months ongoing proactive management of your worming program.

Risk Assessment

Equine service only.

Assess the risk to your horse, pony or donkey from worm infestation.

This is a free service for a limited period.

Health Care Partnership

We have created health care partnerships for organic farms, flock management and equine ownership or care.

We have a starter pack for when you get a new horse or pony.  This will ensure that you start their worming program correctly.

Standard Chemical Programs

We have standard DIY chemical worming programs or we can design the most cost effective program for you.  The cost of this is £8.99.

 Worm Egg Count

We offer worm egg counts from the two leading laboratories in the UK.  The Diagnosteq service at the University of Liverpool and Westgate Laboratories.
